Invented in the early 1980s to avoid destructive testing, Plastiform products have become indispensable tools in the most rigorous sectors of industry. They offer a wide range of applications, from dimensional control and surface roughness to part protection and clamping.
Plastiforms are two-component materials that solidify upon contact (1:1 ratio). As they harden, they replicate with very high precision all the details of the surface onto which they have been applied: dimensions, shapes, features, and surface condition.
Fluid
In liquid form, they position themselves automatically, even in the smallest details (threads, small bores).
They are recommended for total internal impressions or for applications requiring good flowability.
These products are available in 50 ml, 400 ml cartridges, or in XL format in 1.7L or 10.2 L cans.
Pasty
Product Features :
- Non-flowing, the pasty products can be used for partial impressions (internal or external), and on vertical or overhanging surfaces.
- These products are available in 50 ml cartridges.
Manual Putty
Product Features :
- These products, with a “manual putty” consistency, are mixed and applied by hand to create partial external or internal impressions.
- These products are available in 900ml pots (2 x 450 ml).
