EQUIPMENT DISTRIBUTOR
IFA Tech have for the last years worked on the challenges with dust related to aerogel insulation products in the oil & gas sector. We are now proudly launching I-Mat 220 and I-Mat 650.
I-Mat is a thermal insulation mat with low dust release.
I-Mat boasts excellent thermal insulation properties, surface hydrophobicity for I-Mat 220, and is fire rated to Grade A1.
Its thermal conductivity coefficient can reach 0.016W/m·k at room temperature, even lower than still air.
Its hydrophobic rate can reach 99% at room temperature.
I-Mat is according to NORSOK M-004.
I-Mat 220
I-Mat 650
With its broad operating temperature range (-200°C to 650°C), the I-Mat is suitable for use in pipelines, vessels, furnaces, buildings, and various other structures.
The installation is very easy and convenient, which will save construction time.
Training of personnel is quick, only basic tools required for installation.
Product Features :
- Long service life

I-Mat HSE
Product Features :
I-Mat is produced without use of chemical binding agents or colour agents.
The production process is a closed circuit with no emissions.
In general, no CO2 is generated – the CO2 used in the production process is collected and reused.
I-Mat is an environmentally friendly silica aerogel product.
Insulation, Fire and Acoustic Technology
Silicone Foam Insulation
Fibreless Thermal Insulation
Specialised Thermal Insulation having a non-fibrous construction being manufactured from closed cell silicone foam.
Silicone foam is stable, non-reactive and resistant to extreme environments with excellent resistance to ozone, oxidation, ultraviolet light, corona discharge, cosmic radiation, ionising radiation, the closed cell structure ensures minimum water absorption.
Very low levels of toxic fumes when burnt.
To suit a temperature range of -60°C to +230°C.
Available in standard sheet or extruded tube which can be easily manipulated to most shapes including intricate geometries.
Closure of intricate jacket designs achieved using either high density Plastic Velcro or stainless-steel Poppers ensuring a “snug” fit promoting maximum heat retention.
Trace heating can be accommodated under the insulation with no degrading of the foam structure.
Pigment can be added to the foam during production / curing process to accommodate client colour specifications.
Flame retardant versions available for sensitive applications.
Turbine Body, Diffuser and Exhaust Collector Insulation
Turbine Structures Thermal Insulation Jackets provide a pre-shaped high temperature flexible wrap-around cover, constructed from the highest quality heat resistant materials to suit the specific application required, typically used for gas turbine exhaust collectors, diffusers and turbine body insulation.
Typically constructed from an inner knitted stainless-steel mesh and high temperature glass cloth with body soluble ceramic and glass needle matt insulation material and an outer grey silicone coated glass cloth, sewn in stainless steel thread. Fixing straps with ‘D’ rings and steel lacing hooks.
Options available to suit temperatures up to 1100°C.
On site surveys and installation service available.
Insulation For High Temperatures
Temperature up to 1000° C
IFA Tech HT Pipe and IFA Tech HT Bends are special developed as fire resistant insulation of pipes operating by high temperatures, can also be used as passive fire protection (NORSOK R-004 class 5).
IFA Tech HT Pipe system is made of Calcium Silicate which are well known for its non-combustible and its thermal capabilities.
The fire-resistant insulation is made as prefabricated pipe sections covered with a silicone coated glass fabric. The instalment is fast and easy.
The product is designed to provide a high effective barrier for thermal and acoustic insulation of pipes, which operates in high temperatures.
Insulation For Vessels
Temperature from -50⁰ C up to 140⁰ C
Stenca Plates is used for thermal insulation of tanks and vessels. Stenca Plates consist of 40mm thin insulation, which are easy to handle, mount and cut into the right sizes.
Stenca Plates is non-combustible which have a density of 66 kG/m3 and a thermal conductivity of 0,035 W/mK .
Stenca Plates can be delivered with or without silicone coated glass fabric.
Pipe Insulation
Temperature from -50° C to 140° C
Stenca Pipe and Stenca Elbows are prefabricated sections, made ready for Heat Trace, for an easy and time saving installation.
Stenca Pipe are made of Stenca Foam and with its unique mix’s makes it to a non-combustible product tested and approved for a temperature -50⁰ C up to +140⁰ C.
Stenca Pipe insulation is according to all requirements of NORSOK R-004 and is also approved in Statoil TR 1660 Rev. 5.
- Low weight 66 kg per m3
- High strength
- Easy to modify
- Easy to install and save time
- No steel cladding needed
- Excellent CUI results
- Do not harm the environment
- Used in offshore conditions for 17 years
- High production capacity and always a minimum stock
- Stenca Pipe is used in the dessert and in artic environment
Thermal Insulation Jackets
Thermal Insulation Jackets provide a flexible wrap-around cover for heat retention, frost or personnel protection for the industrial, petrochemical and offshore industries.
Comprise an outer sewn cloth fabric fully enclosing insulation material.
Fastening methods include Velcro flaps, fixing straps with ‘D’ rings and pull-cords.
Indoor or outdoor use, temperature range -50°C to +1000°C.
The pre-shaped jackets are easy to install & remove, reducing site installation working hours and costs over traditional loose insulation with a steel cover significantly.
Typical applications include.
Pipe straights, flanges, Valves, Vessels & Engine Exhausts.
On site surveys and installation service available.
